"Arte de Muertos" (ADM) Productions, LLC a New Mexico based company, is the proud producer of Albuquerque’s best & biggest contemporary and traditional folk art show entitled “Arte de Muertos” EXPO. This two day event, held in Spring, Summer, Fall and Christmas, gathers the best of the best of "Dia de los Muertos" artisans from all over the southwest and is truly an impressive showcase to experience. This event celebrates the tradition, wonder and beauty of an annual Mexican custom and now observed here in New Mexico!
In addition to traditional "Dia de los Muertos" folk art, various other colorful forms of mixed media inspired creations can be found, i.e., shadow boxes, jewelry, wood carvings, ceramics, and wind chimes, to name a few, are made available for purchase. Visitors are given the opportunity to purchase one of a kind art from the artist who created the piece and receive details about its purpose and process of creation. Attendees will have ample opportunity for one-on-one with each artist.
“Arte de Muertos” EXPO is not limited to “Day of the Dead” items but also includes Southwest themed art and made in New Mexico products. Professionals in the paranormal and metaphysical fields are also in attendance and willingly share their expertise. Favorite local award winning ghost book author, Antonio R. Garcez, is always present to autograph any one of his ghost books for visitors to his booth.
